Accessibility statement
We want everyone to be able to use the Axon Neuro portal, including people who use a keyboard only, a screen reader, screen magnification, or speech recognition.
What we aim for
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2 at level AA. This is an ongoing effort and we keep checking and improving the portal.
What we have done
- Clear page structure with headings and a main content landmark on every page.
- A skip link so keyboard users can jump straight to the content.
- A visible focus outline so you can always see where you are with a keyboard.
- Plain language and labelled form fields.
- Colour contrast intended to meet AA, on a white background with brand green.
- Reduced-motion support that turns off decorative animation if you ask your device for it.
Known limitations
The interactive map that shows specialists can be harder to use with some assistive technology. A list view of the same specialists is available as an alternative, so you can choose and continue without the map.
If you have a problem
If you find something you cannot use, or you need information in a different format, please email info@axonneuro.co.uk and tell us the page and the problem. We will do our best to put it right and to help you with what you needed to do.
